Mr Bistro • Bandar Puteri Puchong — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

MR Bistro is one of the best mamak in Puchong. Location was behind Colombia Hospital and condos.

Teh tarik less sweet, real less sweet and rich in aroma with tea orangy colour. Tosai was good as well, crispy outside soft inside with the green chutney, a subtle of coriander, mint and spices. Soo refreshing.

Roti Canai & Roti Telur, crispy outside tender inside and rich of ghee and planta taste, probably one of the best in this area.

Fried Maggi was nice, hot & spicy with mixed vege & egg. Must squeeze the fresh limau to enhance overall taste. Portion is good.

Nasi Goreng Mamak nice, served hot with good portion, paired with vege, carrot, onion, garlic, egg, chilli padi, soy sauce with sambal, syok.

Nasi Lemak Bungkus Pack not nice, not hot and taste bland. Nasi Kandar inconsistent, slightly expensive and dishes weren't hot.

Restaurant cleanliness & ventilation were good. Staffs were helpful too but recently the food served very slow and staffs were either forgetful or couldn't see the customers. After Ramadan and Raya, the wait was long and mostly wrong order or fgt, can they just write down the orders? Disappointed because it used to be...

Successor of ABM Mydin just roun' the corner, this mamak is very bright and new. Many many fans installed for maximum comfort while dining.

Overall, everything is great, especially the price that you pay for the great food.

Update 27/01/22: Unfortunately, the worse has taken place for this place. Their service these days are extremely poor, requiring 30 to 45 minutes just for a simple Roti Kosong to arrive. Staff was also very rude, rudely complaining that I should have informed them ahead of time when I requested my two Roti Kosong to be on seperate plates, after waiting for almost 45 minutes.

Furthermore, this has occured multiple times regardless of the time of day.

Overall, it's a shame to see this place that once served such good food and environment, be ruined by poor serving by the staff, and unacceptable waiting times.

Also, if you are a non-smoker, please look elsewhere as this Mamak has turned into a smoker's paradise, with customers smoking and vaping within the indoor seatings as well.

Will be moving on permanently from this...

I'm telling you my experience - I visited this shop on the 1st day of 2024 and I'm 100 sure I will not visit this shop again unless they changed the management. Cleanliness - toilet bowl having the "shxt" on top and I told the stuff they just ignored me. Yuak !!

Food - rojak Mee - the kuah like 2 days ago and so sweet! I never had such lousy rojak Mee in my life! Service - you need to say "Halo" to the staff twice and they kept ignoring you unless you ordered at the 3rd time.

The Tosai - overburnt !!! The nescafe O - asked for less sweet - asked to add water again still sweet!! Tea O - too....too sweet despite asking to add water though we asked for less less sweet!!

Wanna pay with Touch n go- and credit card the cashier turn his head and said NO??? Huh??? What type of service it is???

Asked for receipt after paying cash, again said No !!! Bye...
