YUAN LE 圆乐Dim Sum (formerly 庄稼/Taiji Eatery ) — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Morning service is okay, but they recently opened a dinner service serving other items besides dimsum, such as hotpot. We waited for close to an hour, and when we approached the 'manager', she nonchalantly told us "It is that long, because the chefs have to wait for the ingredients to thaw."

Not only did she not go to the kitchen to check on our orders, she also did nothing (like ask if we would like to order dimsum first) and rudely looked down at her phone while we were talking to her. From the beginning, it was not indicated that hotpot items would take 45 minutes. How it takes close to an hour for hotpot, something which only requires plating ready ingredients, is beyond me. Two tables eating dimsum had come and gone, and the restaurant was empty. EMPTY.

When the soup came (sans ingredients), we waited another 10 minutes but the pot didn't boil because it was a faulty electrical unit. We ended up walking off.

I've been a regular at this place, but you've just lost a customer. Please retrain all your staff, especially your so called 'manager'. Extremely rude, unprofessional and should not be anywhere near a job that requires any level of customer service. If you cannot handle serving items other than dimsum, please stick to what you do best.

Dimsum is average in taste, above average in portions. Service is awful. If you want to come here, be prepared to wait, be VERY patient, focus on the food and not bother about the customer service!

Despite being very crowded, they don't seem to know how to handle the crowd well.

When I sat at the table right after a previous customer has left, the waiter asked me to go to the cashier to pay?!?! I belum order, belum makan, have to pay??? Turns out, they didn't even realised the previous customer left without paying.

A waiter which accidentally hit my head with a tray didn't even apologized, in fact he said I was too tall so my head got into his way????

They kept serving the wrong dimsum to the table, often getting mixed up between orders. Tea was only served after we finished our meal.

Problem is, half of the waiters are children (probably just helping out their parents' business). The other half are workers who are not well trained and do not know...

Poor service as majority of the waitress are student and they does not have SOP to serving Customers. Not in the peak hours while we arrived and seated no one approach us to take our order. Also we notice that they are gathered and chit chatting instead of pay attention to the Customers. We placed our order and taken by the staff after 15mins note that the order wasn't key in. We calling to double check and been updated that forgotten to transit the order. Gosh, chit-chatting there and forgot to key in the order. DIM SUM are ordinary and nothing to shout about. OWNER, please conduct training to your Staff properly and ensure Customers are served after seated. There are numbers of Dim Sum Restaurants available neighbourhood. CONSUMER has plenty of choices.
