Read moreWe were having time in this cafe today 11/02/22 not the first time. At first me , my husband and my mother had sandwich snack and some drinks. Before we finished food, waiter came with the bill - we haven’t asked for a bill yet and we told that two more people are coming to join us. After 20 minutes that we were waiting and finishing our drink basically had our time . Manager than came and very unprofessionally told us to leave because he need to Free the table! After that my husband I told that stuff that we aren’t finished and going to order more once our friends are coming and we not sitting here for free , it is not a first time we are coming here and in Male , but this the first time on this Friday they acted so rudely and without any manner. Very bad, I thought it was a decent place. The employees does not have a proper training, in the end we were waiting for a bill for 30 minutes. Read moreWe visited the café with our colleagues to work on a university assignment with our lecturer. About 45 minutes into our visit, a waiter came over and cleared our table and brought the POS machine — which led us to believe they preferred early payment, so we settled the bill.
However, just five minutes later, another staff member approached us and quite rudely asked us to vacate the table, stating they had another group of eight arriving. We explained that we were planning to order another round of drinks — all of us had already made purchases. Despite this, the staff member repeated that it was a busy Friday and keeping the table would affect their sales.
We were paying customers and felt completely disrespected being asked to leave in such a manner. This is not how any guest should be treated. We left feeling extremely disappointed and will not be returning — nor would we recommend this...
