I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Khanji restaurant in Hulhumale and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch—the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food, however, was the real highlight. If you're craving authentic desi (Pakistani) cuisine, this is the place to be. We ordered a variety of dishes, but the star of the show was their BBQ platter. The meats were perfectly marinated, incredibly tender, and had that smoky, charred flavor you can only get from expertly grilled barbecue. The kebabs were juicy, the chicken was succulent, and everything was cooked to perfection. What made the BBQ an absolute dream was the pairing with their freshly made naan. The naan was a revelation—soft, warm, and just the right amount of fluffy. It was the perfect vehicle to scoop up the delicious meats and flavorful sauces. The combination of the hot, fresh naan and the sizzling, aromatic BBQ was simply divine. We also tried some of their other dishes, which were equally impressive, but the BBQ and naan combination truly stands out as a must-order. For anyone in Hulhumale looking to get a taste of authentic Pakistani or Indian flavors, Khanji restaurant is a fantastic choice. This is a pakistani cuisine restaurant. I visited this restaurant in July 2024 for a dinner. I had mutton karahi and nan for almost USD 15.

Although the waiting time was quite long for the food and portion size was somehow less but I must say that the taste was amazing. Just how you would expect a Karachi karahi to be, its spicy, tangy, thick curry with succulent meat. It was so delicious that i craved for it months after having it.

I visited the restaurant just after lunchtime. The environment was calm and quiet, which made for a relaxing experience. Prices were fair, and the food was decent with generous portions. After dining at a restaurant last night that tried to charge for water (without any indication on the menu) and added GST on top of the service charge, it was such a relief to find this place.
