HI LEMON — Restaurant in Malé

This’s the worst place I’ve ever tried in Maldives and the worst Korean restaurant ever.I’ve tried many Korean restaurants in Bkk and even in Korea.You shouldn’t call yourself a Korean food or Korean chicken place. I ordered tuna seaweed rice bowl and my husband ordered chicken rice bowl.My dish came with dry seaweed , Basmati rice(you should use proper rice for the Korean rice bowl!), small pieces of tuna and small mayonnaise sauce.No pickle or anything that usually come with the korean rice and also the tuna taste nothing they just basically open tuna can and put it on the rice for you!! The Chinese lady at the counter has bad manner you shouldn’t do the service work if you can’t talk to customers nicely.

The worst experience I’ve had so far in Hulhumale left me feeling incredibly disappointed. I went to buy a drink and some water in the early afternoon, around 1:30, and since it was such a hot time of day, I kindly asked for very cold water. After I paid, however, she handed me unchilled water. I politely asked if she could provide a cup with ice cubes, even offering to pay extra, but she refused in a rude, angry manner. My best friend and I been getting takeout from Hi Lemon quite frequently these past few days. I am actively leaving a review because this is probably the first time I am so impressed with a brand. The different takeout box designs for the chicken and rice, the fabric takeout bags with the waterproof lining inside, its just brilliant! And the lady at the counter is always so polite and nice. Not to mention the food, oh my god the fried chicken box with garlic soy and honey mustard combo is to die for!!
