This is a revisit, 2nd time in 2017. I have made the booking 6 months prior to my stay in December. Upon arrival 10ish in the night, I made a call using the free telephone at the Male Airport Information Counter to call the hotel. I was told that the hotel had tried to contact me several times to cancel my booking. Shocking, I rechecked my booking app and email and call logs, there was nothing on "trying to contact me." So they refused me because their hotel was full. ||||No biggie, as I figured out my next course of action, the driver with the hotel signboard appeared and told us to wait for our transport. The transport was shared and we were dropped off at another hotel. There was no heads-up from the driver at all. Once we entered the new hotel, we were told that it was a back-up hotel because the hotel was full. ||||No biggie again, as we only wanted to sleep for a night before our domestic flight at 8am. We just had to keep reminding the driver to come back in the morning because it was an early departure. The airport transportation was waived in our case. ||||Anyway, it is not our first time in Hulhumale so we kinda know how things roll here.||||Thanks! No Complimentary bottled water, No hairdryer, No soap, No face-towel (Bath towel only), No Hotel guidance booklet. No information about extension No., half of room lights were not working.
