Customer service at its worst. We walked in at 22.15 yesterday and asked for a table for 5. A waitress and a guy who acted like the manager told us there weren’t any, in a very rude way. Being with two ladies in their 80s, very tired after the flight, I asked if it was possible to get a take away order and the “manager” said yes, not welcoming at all. No need to say, he didn’t offer this option and the place wasn’t very busy, there were also some tables that needed clearing that could accommodate us. We ordered and when I asked to split the order into 2 payments the “manager” seemed very annoyed, almost rolling his eyes and asked me if I wanted to pay the pizzas one by one. He then told us, in a very rude way, to wait at the bar and he would call us. He speaks English but still has to learn the word “please”. Two of us waited for the order and the others headed back to the flat. After a while we left the bar and we noticed 5 pizza boxes waiting on the counter. No one of the staff interacted with us and after a while the “manager” came towards us and, of course, the pizza’s boxes, were ours. As we paid in advance in cash I asked for the receipt and, again, he looked very annoyed. I was tempted to tell him how rude he is but I don’t think he listens to a customer. This was our first night in Malta, not a great welcome I...

I never understood why this place is rated so high? Why? Pizza was paper thin in the middle and raw, it was a shaggy mess. It's not supposed to be like that. Gnocchi was almost raw and was sticking to my mouth, the shrimp was raw too. Burger was dry although I asked for medium rare, I told it is not medium and they made another one. Was hoping it will be better, but no. Patty was tasteless, no salt, dry, onions and bacon were black and so hard I nearly chipped my tooth. It's not funny at all. Tasted like 3 days old and microwaved. There was supposed to be a cheese crisp on top, but I think it was premade couple of days in advance and microwaved, it got so hard, i couldn't chew it. I am not even kidding. cheese crisp is supposed to be crispy, or am I wrong? Bacon is not supposed to be rock hard as well. It was black in color. We love you Malta, but it was the worst food I've never eaten. My first time leaving all the food in a restaurant almost untouched. Giving two star, as the cocktails...

The place seemed so elegant and fancy... But it is the only positive thing what we could mention about it... There were 5 several beers on the menu, but they only have Cisk,and we would prefer an other type of beer... No problem, we Can accept it... But the food was horrible... The starter arrancini has no taste... It was a boring rice ball and that's all... The frutti di mare risotto was the worst meal that we have ever tried here: the shrimp was really smelly and dirty and the construction of the dish was a like a mess and disgusting...The filet of seabass was full with fishbones and we can't enjoy it... The fried frutti Di mare plate had no taste, but the shrimp was also smelly and dirty... The filled ravioli was not,but weak... When we complain about our bad experiences, the chef was kind and try offer us an other meal or dessert,but we thought better not to accept it and walk away so sad and hungry... It was a huge...
