We revisited the Medieval Tavern one more time for their great homemade iced thea. This time we also had a bite to eat. The food is average however pretty dry.

The atmosphere has nothing 'medieval' in it, despite Game of Thrones being filmed in that very square and the overall atmosphere of the town. No effort on that side even if it would surely bring more business. However the issue is the staff. When asked which pie to take, the waiter said not the beef one as it is against his religion. It’s a good place if you’d like to have a coffee or grab a bite. The staff is nice and the prices are okay. My fiancée ate a beef pie and had an espresso with milk which he liked very much. I ate a Maltese hot dog and a salted caramel cappucino - the hot dog was falling apart and tasted too spicy and sour at the same time and the cappucino had a weird sweet and sour aftertaste - probably because of the salted caramel spice.
