I was looking for restaurants to visit in Rabat online and I'll be honest I initially tried booking at other places but they weren't available. I am so happy that they weren't because it led me to this gem of a place! The location is super charming, quiet in one of the allies of Rabat. Our waitress Sylvia was super friendly, very informative of all the dishes as well as the pairing of wines. All food items served there are local produce and everything is fresh. We had the truffle scented carpaccio of beef and ceviche which as starters which were mouth watering and accompanied with the most delicious focaccia. And as mains I had the pork belly (do not miss out on this) and my sisters had the merluzz. Read moreA joy for the taste and the eyes. This is a place you need to try if you want to experience a refined apparently simple food. Long preparation, extreme attention to details. The food is impeccably balanced and full of real flavours. This is classic cooking. The service is very friendly and polite. Bonus is wine service as the list caters for relatively casual drinkers or refined connoisseurs. Served by a well trained sommelier. A hidden treasure in a quaint road. The highlight of the evening was the amberjack served on a bed of caponata. The explosion of the Mediterranean sea, herbs and flavour.the rest, chicken ballotine was succulent, moist and tasty. Rich the trofie with cozze and saffron sauce. Delicious the beef carpaccio. Refreshing the ginger crème brulee A place to go back soon....

Service was excellent – just one waitress looking after everyone, but she was friendly and professional. The food was amazing, we shared pasta with braised octopus and beef carpaccio with porcini mushrooms as a starter, then had the Chateaubriand for main, perfect size for two. Cooked perfectly, served with proper homemade fries, grilled veg and two complimentary sauces.
Everything was spot on, definitely one of the best meals we’ve had in Malta. Highly...
