Calle Bistro Seafood in Malta is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers, offering fresh and well-prepared dishes with excellent service.
Food The food was absolutely delicious. The Greek salad was vibrant and fresh, with crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, black olives, and crumbled feta cheese, all drizzled with olive oil and herbs. The mussels were perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and complemented by a savory broth with cherry tomatoes and a touch of garlic. The shrimp dish was refreshing, with a perfect balance of acidity and spice from red onions, tomatoes, and fresh herbs. The sea bass was the highlight—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
Service The service was exceptional. The waitress was super kind, hardworking, and attentive to every table, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was incredibly fast, making the meal even more enjoyable.

Read moreOne of the best meals we ate in Sliema! This restaurant was just a few apartments down from our accomodation, such a hidden gem that we had walked past the previous nights. The restaurant was full by the end of the night and for good reason. The service was attentive and the seafood is extremely fresh. The grilled octopus and prawns had a nice charcoal taste and were perfectly grilled. My partner enjoyed the smoked salmon carbonara - a nice change coming from eating a lot of carbonara in Italy. I was blown away by the freshness of the seafood marinara, I normally would not order it back home as I have never had one I enjoyed. The mussels were fresh - it has been hard to come across fresh and big mussels in our time travelling in Europe compared to what we can get back home in Australia. The food is worth the wait, do not look pass...
Read moreA hidden Sliema Secret. We visited here on April 29th, delighted that we did. Fab menu, so much choice of seafood. Difficult to decide. Settled on Garlic shrimp, popcorn shrimp, ricotta ravioli and an amazing fresh red snapper, whole fish, filleted by Henry at our table, absolutely delicious, so fresh, cooked to perfection. Garlic shrimp starter so delicious. Portions really generous, also. Service from Irene and Henry was top notch. Would highly recommend this relatively new family restaurant. It is up behind the promenade, quiet street, away from the noise and bustle of other restaurants, one after the other, busy and expensive. Would definitely return here,. 3 courses with bottle of wine, for 2, €108, excellent considering the quality of our food. Well done to the whole team, a must visit if you are in Sliema,...
