Went there twice during our four days stay in Sliema and have been thoroughly pleased with the experience ( that's why we went twice ). The ambience is chic and nice. It's nothing to write home about but what really set it apart is how clean and tidy and well maintained the entire place was, including the outside sitting area. The staff behaviour, right from chef Nasir to the other staff is very very good. They are not only very fast but also super friendly, extremely accomodating and knows how to make you feel at home. I've hardly experienced such warm hospitality at any other establishments in Europe or the UK. Coming to the food, it simply hits home. Every dish that we had was amazing. None of the dishes were hit and miss and the flavours were top-notch with a wide range of dishes. The sushis were our favourites though the dumplings were a close second. Considering it was the buffet that we had opted for, the quality was of astonishgly good even with such diverse options. The ingredients that had been used were very fresh and of the highest standard. Overall, an extremely well-maintained, customer friendly restaurant that brought us so much joy on this trip that it will be among the many reasons why we will want to come...
Read moreI don’t know where to begin! The food was exceptionally great and authentic. We were there twice for the: all you can sushi promotion. First time we tried lots of their different rolls and offers and were honestly surprised how great everything was. Second time we also got different options, I was a bit sick after a boat trip and couldn’t finish my ordered food so I cancelled the rest of them. Chef personally came to our table to ask if something was wrong with our food and if we wanted some replacements. All in all, the place has a nice atmosphere and great staff. I wish them to only grow from here. We will definitely have a meal here when we...
Read moreI was very dubious when I walked in because it was empty and the chef was a one man band but I was happy to be proven wrong. The sashimi was great and good value for money, you get 5 pieces. The salad was tasty and the baos were soft and chewy, usually non chinese people cannot get it right but they were very good. Too bad this place is in Malta and not in the UK otherwise this would be my usual take out for Japanese. Only thing I didn't like was that he used sachets of soya sauce instead of bottles, I would expect that from sitting down to eat as I would prefer less plastic to be used. However, I would definitely still...
