Kups Malta (Sliema) - Korean Street Food — Restaurant in Sliema

I just threw my full takeaway in the bin after watching the appalling food hygiene standard in Kups, and there was no way I was eating that.

Firstly, the guy serving at the front with short curly hair wiped cutlery for customers eating in on what looked like a dirty cloth and took too long to acknowledge me. A please or thank you would be good too.

Secondly, a staff member with long dark hair came in from outside to start her shift, took her jacket off in the food prep area, put her bag in the same area as raw food, coughed everywhere constantly whilst food was being prepared (mostly, without her hand to get mouth), wiped her forehead with her hands then ran her hands through her hair, when tying it back! I was waiting for the girl to wash her hands, but no, she then proceeded to touch the screens and the food equipment.

The gyozas (dumplings) were out a frozen packet, as I saw them take out the freezer and something binged in...

The absolute worst Korean place on the island. What a disgrace. The food took close to 2 hrs to arrive and when I tried to call the restaurant they put the phone on busy. The service is a joke. They are a joke. UPDATE - The food arrived after approx 3 hours and it was BLAND! No flavour, just messy. Take my advise, if you want to have good Korean Food go to DOMA. In their ad, Kups stated that ‘It’s the best Korean food on the Island’. I’ve eaten better Korean food at a fusion restaurant. Do not order or buy from them. And other thing, I ordered to go, by delivery. I had to physically go there since they were not picking up their phone, and pick up my own food! The people behind the counter were also very rude and disrespectful....
