DON'T BE FOOLED by the so-called fancy environment and cocktail list.
BAD SERVICE & RACISM POTENTIAL The waiter treated us very rude and kept on ignoring and refusing our requirements without any patience or any valid solution.
No smile, no respect, no fairness. And no apology or even a little consciousness of their wrong behavior & attitude.
Nobody should be treated like this, no matter Asians or any other colored 'MINORITY’ compared to you white people.
UNREASONABLE RULES We had ordered so many alcohol but when we were very hungry, they said it was our fault that coming so late and having dinner at other place instead of theirs. It was 11:06 and they insisted that the kitchen was closed. OK. Then they didn't allow us to eat our friend's birthday cake. They even asked us to leave or call the police because of a BIRTHDAY CAKE!!
Costomers come to your place to satisfy their needs and have fun. They are not come to obbey you and listen to your unreasonable rules while paying you and letting you earn money. You should understand the meaning of rules, they serve people, that's how they bring profits to you, not people serve rules, especially the rules are out of no reason at all.
CHEATING CUSTOMERS They gave me a cocktail totally different to the menu picture, not only the looking, but ingredients!!! And their explanation was they were ran out of those fruits??? Come on, you should inform me at the first second I want to order something you don't have.
They didn't tell me when I order, they didn't explain when they brought the unnamed alcohol, and when I found the problem, they didn't even say sorry?? They just said "that's it, that's the only thing we have, bear it."
And as a CUSTOMER, I paid 10 euro for a glass of the ingredients left in your kitchen. SEE HOW THEY...
Read moreI went with my fiancee and we ordered 2 espressi corretti at the counter: the request was perfectly normal, at least that's what you expect out of a "gourmet bar" (fyi price is normally 2/3€). The bartender served two small sips of sambuca inside my 2 espresso directly fron the bottle, which was actually what I wanted and how it's made. Surprise!! The receipt received from the cashier shows 2 espresso and 2 sambuca (as far as I know when you order sambuca it's meant to be dosed in a glass!), which we never received. Total was 11,50€ Other than feeling a bit robbed of my money it's clear that someone in that bar is not very honest and competent at their job. The poor quality of the front personnel is also reflected in their behaviour towards customers, which I found unacceptable: one lady waitress asked me to "move away" since me and my fiancee wereI trying to enjoy our espresso at the counter (takes 2 minutes). I don't know about the food and rest of stuff but this is enough to tell you what a waste is this place. It's full of much better places that deserve your...
Read moreNot impressed. For starters, no one greeted me as I walked in & yes; they all saw me. Normally this would be excused if they were busy but that’s not the case. The server comes across rude and when I asked if there’s WiFi available, she rolled her eyes and reluctantly “shared” it with me.
She literally walked over, turned my iPad towards her, selected the network and starts typing the password without asking for permission to type on MY keyboard & only when she incorrectly typed the password was when she decided to share it with me…
When my drink was brought out, I was confused as to why I had two of them. She looks at me, throws up her hands and says, insouciantly, “it’s Happy Hour”; as if I was suppose to know intuitively that happy hour automatically comes with two drinks.
Maybe that’s the Maltese way of life… But what should not be...
