I recommend checking with the waiter first regarding the sushi you order. I ordered a spicy tuna and spicy salmon for the all-you-can-eat.
When I received the order and tried it, I realised it was not what I had ordered. My father tried it and confirmed it wasn't my order, as he was also availing of their all-you-can-eat deal.
I brought it to a waiter's attention. They informed me that our waiter would be with us.
A waiter, who wasn't our waiter told us that they changed the menu but never updated it on the menu. I explained to the waiter that no one informed us about this change when we were ordering. I then asked if it was possible to get what I ordered and I was told no, but I could order something different (which is good). However, when I tried to order something different, I was told that I had to wait till the sushi was finished. The conversation became argumentative, and I don't know why.
At this point, I was annoyed because my family had food while I had to wait for them to finish, to be able to place my order. So I walked out to get fresh air and calm down as I felt agitated.
When I arrived back our waiter was there. There appeared to be miscommunication and he was able to sort out my order. However, I was agitated, and I didn't trust them as our conversation with the waiters was argumentative and agitating. I finished my food and my mother's food.
We left and paid up. Though it felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.
No formal apology was given to me. I don't know what conversation transpired between my family and the waiter. We thanked them for my mother's meal, which was tasty. She had fried rice with prawns.
I recommend again to clarify with the waiter exactly what you...
Read moreThe food was WAY too expensive as were the cocktails. I am a bartender and I never would have served a customer the whiskey sour we received, it tasted so bizarre it was borderline undrinkable. The non alcoholic cocktail I got tasted mostly of sugar and syrup.
The sushi was completely mediocre and incredibly expensive. So not worth it. It was edible but just not for the price.
Our server was so rude, all the other staff we interacted with seemed nice but our server was so rude. He got one of our orders wrong (gave me a meat bao instead of the cheese one) I said it before the plate was even on the table. Instead of saying “sorry my mistake” he insisted I was wrong and that I ordered this, I explained I was a vegetarian and I definitely ordered the cheese one. He just walked away and never said anything about it, we did get a replacement but nothing was said to us. Later he went to take our plate and we said “oh we’re still working on that”. He slammed it down on the table and walked away. He never came back out of the restaurant after that and we had to flag a different server down to try pay our bill. We were incredibly polite to our rude server and said please and thank you for everything, even while he was rude. I think they rely on tourists so they don’t care about customers or service because they don’t get repeat clients.
In the end our bill was €75 for two people with two very poor cocktails, mediocre food and very poor service. I...
Read moreFood was decent quality and big portions, cocktails were very good and the barman was a proper cocktail barman doing fancy flips and displays, the prices however were high. All of this was overshadowed by the annoying fact that it seemed to be more a club trying to compete with space from ibiza as there was a dj that worked there and was blasting the music like there's no tomorrow. There were a few complaints by other customers including ourselves as you literally had to shout in one another's ears to have a conversation like you would do on a dance floor of a nightclub. The waitress told the dj to turn the music down but it seemed to gradually put back up when it was a song he got into whilst doing tricep dips on the table he was standing at for some reason.. Weird.. And for the size of the venue which was very small and condensed this was definitely not appropriate for any type of restaurant no matter what feel the restaurant was trying to portray. On top of this they didn't have certain foods on the menu that we only found out once we ordered it and they came back to tell us they didn't have it more than twice rather than just telling us what was not available from the start. This led to taking a long time to keep choosing something different, and in the end deciding to just have the starters as the main and not bother. If it wasn't for this then we would have probably given...
