Morning Star Gastropub & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Sliema

I ordered a couple of drinks from this place. I was sitting down and standing, which was not a big deal. The owner had asked his waiter to tell me to sit or else they would not serve me. No bar/restaurant on the strip has ever said this to me. First and last time at this place. Complete nonsense.

Reply to message: your a pathetic liar. I never bothered any of your customers and was there by myself. You had your waiter tell me to sit or leave because you don’t have to guts to tell me. The waiter told me once and I left, not 3 times. Wake up tomorrow, look in the mirror and realize that you’re a gutless liar.

We had an awful experience as two 20 year old girls, the bar manager approached our table uninvited ,stood and stared and began asking questions, then invited us for a drink, we had to leave as it ruined our evening and was creepy.

As you can see from the reviews, we are not the only people they did it to. ————— Dear Owner, in a reply to your comment - mistakes do happen, but based on the amount of people it happens to, you might consider having a talk with your staff in case they are doing it without your knowledge (if you care about your reputation as much as you claim). My favourite bar in Sliema. We've been going for the past 4 years and it's improved year on year. Staff are very attentive and friendly. We stopped off for breakfast one of the days and it was amazing. They also now have a pizzeria, which I wish I could have tried as the pizza's looked even better than the breakfast. Great selection of drinks and cocktails as well. Also, they had live music on one of the nights but also tend to play music throughout the bar. Sport is also shown and they put the Aston Villa match on for me. They even let me take a present home 🍺 😉 Can't wait to come back...
