AWFUL customer service. I will keep this short since I don't even want to talk about this issue. We went there in a group of 7, and as you could see in the picture of the restaurant description photo, you would be able to clearly see that the seats are in the middle of the stairs, making the place quite crowded. So, we decided to split into 2 tables, but one of the waitress came and asked if we are in a same group. Then, she grabbed our food that we almost started to eat, and shoved us into 1 small table. Funny thing is that there were still empty seats in other tables, but they kept emphasizing that "this is fast food restaurant." So we ended up with 7 people sitting in one small table. Grabbing our food and moving it to one small table was quite funny:/ Food was very nice, with reasonable price, but if someone asks if I would visit here again..? I would say "no" The waitress should better know to respect people because we weren't the only ones who were treated this way. The other group was moved to a different table with less comfortable seats, without the sunshade because they were less...

After my visit at GRANO , it was extremely disappointed with the service. My friend and I were still seated when the staff abruptly took away our empty glasses and placed menus for the next customers on our table, without us even asking for the bill. It felt like we were being rushed out, which was rude and unprofessional.not even 1H

To make matters worse, shortly after, a staff member returned and asked if we wanted anything else. I mentioned that I just wanted to relax for a bit, but he told me that they needed the table. It was clear they were more interested in turning over tables than providing a comfortable and welcoming experience.

I ended up ordering another drink just to make it clear that I wasn’t ready to leave, but the whole situation left a bad taste in my mouth. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy your evening without feeling pressured or rushed, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

It was odd and uncomfortable that the server was calculating our drinks right in front of us and asking what we had. When I politely asked him to bring the bill, he seemed annoyed and didn't...

The bartender at this restaurant needs to learn ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.’ I visited this venue twice during my time in Malta and was treated with utter disrespect on both occasions. After the first occasion I decided to try again, and the evening was lovely until the bartender decided to barrage me with insults while I was alone going to the bathroom. I am not one to post a negative review, but the way the bartender treated me, while I was enjoying an evening in Valetta, was incredibly insulting and unsolicited. I’m unsure what provoked his disgraceful and unacceptable behaviour but I hope others can avoid the same experience I had. I hope that in future he will be more respectful and polite to the people he meets, as you never know what someone is going through. In his role, he could have a positive impact on someone’s day, but instead chose to be horrible to a...

Grano, located in the heart of Valletta, Malta, is a standout sandwich shop that fully deserves a 5/5 rating. My experience there was nothing short of awesome. The sandwiches are not just good; they're a cut above - delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. Every ingredient in the sandwiches seemed carefully selected for quality, and the freshness was evident in every bite. The flavors were well-balanced, showcasing a blend of traditional and innovative sandwich-making. The shop itself adds to the experience. It's got a welcoming vibe, perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely lunch. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the visit even more enjoyable. In summary, Grano is a must-visit for anyone in Valletta looking for a top-notch sandwich. It's a place where quality and taste are given top priority, and it shows. Definitely a full 5 out of 5!

What a great spot to be. We came here twice. Once during the day for a Ftira. These were really good. The staff was fast providing some table in the shadow and you get a large Ftira stuffed with delicious toppings in a small basket. Immediately you want to taste it and boy are they good! Second we went here for a chilled drink at night. No Problem at all, because they have the Sandwich-Counter on one side of the street and a small Bar on the other side. Lots of Cocktails, Gins, etc. Tasted really good. You get 50 ml of Gin with matching topping and a fresh bottle of Fever Tree poured over the Gin at the table in Front of the guest. Excellent taste, perfect presentation, reasonably priced, cool atmosphere in that little side street. This is not the cheapest place to get a Ftira or Drink but honestly its one of the best.
