Last Sunday was Palm Sunday. The Church in front of the restaurant has a traditional Palms procession every year, like every other single Church in Malta. It takes about 5 minutes and it passes in front of their restaurant for 2 minutes.
The moment they noticed the crowd passing singing hymns , somebody from the restaurant decided to play loud music from their speakers, ruining this way the solemnity of the moment.
This is disgusting and disrespectful and should be fined by the authorities.
I didn't see any of this behavior during the mohammedan celebrations or when the atrocious carnival was passing by, I must conclude then that this is deliberately...

As a wine bar, Iād have liked to have seen more wines available by the glass, but otherwise it was a very relaxing and leisurely lunch.

Service was good and attentive, despite the fact that they were really busy, and prices were good despite it being a prime tourist location. That has been a real feature of Malta, decent prices for food and drink.
Sitting in the sun, eating, drinking and watching the world go by. What more can you ask, especially when it is poor...
