We had limited time in Gozo for the afternoon and restaurant advised food will take 20mins to be ready. However after waiting more than 40mins and seeing at least 2 tables who came after us have had their food, we went to complain and was told food was coming. We waited another 10mins and decided it was enough and wanted to just pay for the drinks and leave. The owner refused to let us leave and said food is being cooked right now and behaved very aggressively towards us. He was swearing and screaming at us in front of other customers even those with young children. He even shoved my friend. He then insisted we pay for the food which we did and then threatening to pack the food for us with a "surprise". He did not in the end intend to give us any food. Thankfully there was police near the restaurant and we got their help to make an official report of this incident.
