I wouldn't exactly call this place a fine dining experience. We ordered the fried cheese appetizer, which didn't come with a lot of them, but tastewise was pretty good. As a main we had the Calamari, which in itself was good, but the sides just weren't good. Fries were soggy and the vegetables were bland and seemed like they were taken out of the freezer. Raviolis also had a pretty hard dough for some reason. The pizza also tasted straight from the freezer. Honestly, they got three stars from me just because the service was really good (TBH we were one of the only guests) and the prices were cheap, especially the drinks. Maybe skip the food and just order a bottle of wine.

First time I visited this place I chose the ravioli in tomato sauce and a cup of tea. I would rate the ravioli with 4,5/5 (sauce needed a little more flavour, in my opinion). They have a good variety of cinnamon buns with different toppings, I chose the classic cinnamon bun and was pleasently surprised. It was warm and was served with vanilla ice cream on the side. Caffe Latte was really good, as it was made perfectly. Only thing I would maybe point out, is for the servers to be a bit more personal or smiling. Otherwise a nice place to visit :)

Good location and cheap local food. Got a big (yet a little hard) sandwich with tuna and local cheese for 5.50€. The chips on the side made it look a little cheap (well the prize was low anyways) but the taste was good. Drinks were good as well. Can recommend for a lunch and some chill out time. The risotto in top of the picture was tasty and had a lot of shrimps! Generous portion!

It was getting late, and we were starving. It was not initially clear to us from the name that Coffee Break serves very substantial dinners, but in typical Maltese style they certainly do!

Everything we ate was delicious, and the servings were massive. In Malta, if you order a pizza for one it easily serves two or maybe even three hungry people. We therefore got a box to take the rest away, but we also enjoyed a delicious seafood pasta (something that is always good in Malta). Other starters / desserts were equally tasty and substantial, my glass of white wine was well-recommended by our friendly Lithuanian waiter and we will definitely return here when we...
