As we're italian turists we understand italian food very well,so let's start from the table,you'll likely find seed oil instead of extra vergin olive oil like was labelled on the bottle,pizza was dry and we've requested a medium rare cooked steak but it came out to be fully cooked,i also asked to swap the potatoes (french fries to baked potatoes) which were included in the price of the place,and without any notice we've found the extra charge on the bill,upon asking questions about the charge the answer we received with a big smirk smile was the change of choice,we didn't stay to argue and decided to let it go and pay. On an island that is determined to open more Italian restaurants (mo’s closing to become another Italian) it’s hard to stand out. Gozotian bakers like makren and maxock have good gozotian style pizzas but it’s difficult to find proper genuine pizza here. This restaurant however has nailed it.
The dough has been made properly, allowed to rise in the correct way and you can really taste the results. It’s so light and fluffy, easy to digest but with just the right amount of crisp. Every ingredient on the pizza tasted perfectly balanced and you could really tell the effort that has been put into picking toppings.
