We had lunch here last June 14 (3 seniors and a nephew). The food was very good. The atmosphere was fine. There were several service staff (male waiters in black uniforms and females in white uniforms) attending to customers, ushering them to a table, handing them the menu, or having them sit in the waiting area.
The waiters are so quick. Once they see you're busy talking and your plate hasn't been refilled, they will ask you if you're finished (just like what happened to me). My sisters, nephew, and I were talking when a waiter approached and asked if he could get my plate (it's a good thing he asked, because I'm not done yet and I still have food on my plate). I politely said, "I'm still eating." My other sister said, "Bakit kaya nila kinukuha agad? Ang bilis nila kumuha, sa iba hintayin ka." Then she added, "Kulang siguro sila ng gamit," and we all laughed.
Anyway, what I noticed was the female service crew who attended to me when I paid the bill—she didn't hand me the OR after I had paid. She only handed me the transaction receipt from the debit card reader. (I forgot to ask for the OR.) My reading glasses were broken, so I just relied on the amount she told me. Without the OR, I wasn't able to verify if the senior discounts were correct. I hope that they will take this as an SOP to give the OR to the customer and not wait for the customer to ask for OR. This should be the case, right?
Oh, another thing, we had to wait before they gave us our takeout. We still have to remind them. This is something! They're quick to clear the table but slow on giving...

In photos (dishes I've eaten in the Trinoma branch):
👍🏻 Pancit Canton was good.
🙌🏻 Chicharon Bulaklak with Sinigang Floss was the bomb 💣 You'll see in my photo that it came in a takeaway container; I only intended to try a piece while still hot, and then I ended up eating it all on the spot 😝
🦐 Fresh Lumpiang Ubod was too shrimpy for my taste (I don't eat seafood). Most people would probably like it.
🤔 Iced coffee with sago - I tried this out of curiosity because it sounded like an interesting/odd combo. Won't order it again 😝 I should've known better anyway than to order an iced coffee shake when I don't like mainstream-ly sweet drinks (I normally drink coffee black and ask for zero sugar the few times in a year that I order milk tea). Most people might like this, especially fans of frappuccinos.

Review: Since we were just 2 pax, we ordered the small dishes. The Baby Squid in Olive Oil and Garlic was flavorful. Definitely a must try! All the food that we ordered were delicious. The small orders were good for 1 actually, but if you order 3 or more dishes, it's good for sharing. It was my friend's birthday and the attendant gave her a free Leche Flan for dessert. Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. I definitely recommend this restaurant! Definitely one of my favorite restos. It is best to bring your foreigner friends and Balikbayan family here. They also have other branches across Metro...
