I’ve noticed Mango Tree Cafe at SM North for some time, but due to the crowd, we always skipped dining there. Last Sunday, while at Trinoma, we spotted Mango Tree Cafe beside Zara and decided to seize the opportunity.
Firstly, the interior was both beautiful and cozy, adorned with delightful green and gold colors.
Moving on to the food, we ordered a couple of dishes to try. We began with the Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls, and they were delicious!
For mains, we indulged in the Salted Egg Fried Rice and Grilled Chicken with Lemongrass. The fusion of flavors in every bite was simply divine!
For dessert, we savored the Mango Sticky Rice, which did not disappoint either.
The total bill came to around 2k for the two of us.
We’re definitely planning to return and explore more dishes...

We ordered a delightful spread that included Thai fried rice, beef curry, pomelo salad, tom yum seafood, chicken pandan, and shrimp phad thai, not to mention a few refreshing drinks to wash it all down. Overall, it was a nice meal, but I’m left yearning for that exceptional taste that sticks in...

Shrimp Pomelo salad was sweet and refreshing with just the right amount of tart. Pad thai was filling although I found it a tad sweeter than what Im accustomed to. Lemon grass chicken was flavorful, juicy and tender. I really loved the sauce that came along with it. We ordered the crab omelette expecting to be wowed but it left me disappointed. Barely tasted the crab, it was mostly egg. I ended up using the lemon grass chicken sauce to flavor it some. It was too lightly seasoned. For its price of 980, there was room to expect better. I do wish I tried their sticky Mango...
