There are certain expectations when you enter an unlimited KBBQ restos. Like it should be charcoal cooking, high meat quality, a lot of side dishes and cheese dip to name a few. Romantic baboy trinoma meets all of those expactations but the side dishes are limited as you have to pay to get more. But all in all, it was a well balanced course and a good variety of food in the unli menu. The meat is of good quality and each order we had is consistent of thickness and taste. You can explore a wide variety of flavors if you choose to go through all the kinds of meat they have and i assure you, the quality of meat is consistent all through out. The waiting staff are fast to respond and deliver and would not let you cook with a blackened stove. Everything looks clean and smiles all around. In short, a good quality service for the good quality food. The ambiance of the place is more like a warm cozy seoul city vibe with all the kpop music blasting all around. But the one thing that concerns me is the price. We payed 550php for the meal and they gave us a limited side dish choice. For the same price, i could go to ither kbbq restos and get the whole menu if it pleases me. Or for the same price and add a little more pesos and i could go to a buffet and literally eat anything i want, from western dishes to asian dishes. Another thing is, everyone gets a rose after they eat. I know because i was the last to leave the place and they gave everyone a rose. But when we left since we didnt give a tip because if the already pricey meal, we didnt get a rose. So to sum it all up, good service, good food, but not...
Read moreI am sharing this to make others aware of our experience at Romantic Baboy. We visited as a group of 5, and unfortunately, we were highly dissatisfied with their service and policies.
Small Serving Sizes: Despite being advertised as unlimited, the portions served were extremely small, making it frustrating to enjoy the meal.
Poor Service: The staff were inattentive, and it felt as though our group wasn’t a priority.
Discriminatory Verification Practices: As a PWD (Person with Disability), I presented my valid PWD ID, but they insisted they had "internal means of verification" and claimed to know someone at Manila City Hall. I believe this is not only unprofessional but also likely a violation of the Data Privacy Act, as businesses are not legally authorized to perform such verifications without proper procedures or consent. Again, we are a group of 5 adults and being only 1 with the PWD card made me feel like the staff are being judgmental.
This experience was disheartening, especially because restaurants are expected to provide equal treatment and adhere to lawful practices. I hope Romantic Baboy takes this feedback seriously and improves their policies, service quality, and attitude toward their customers.
For others planning to visit, I would recommend being cautious about their policies, especially if you are a PWD. There are better restaurants around Trinoma for sure. No wonder they get almost all 1 star ratings...
Read moreI rarely give out reviews as a person but this establishment made me make one. From the bottom of my heart the service was complete trash. On the first three orders, they were fast and okay but after that its down hill. Me and my partner only wanted a few things, kimchi, raddish, green onions and lettuce. Thats it. We already have our beef cooked and we just wanted some side dishes so we can be satisfied and go. But 10 mins passed, we followed up. Another 10 mins we were confused cause were pretty sure we didnt request anything that should be taking this long so we followed up again. ANOTHER 10 MINS NO JOKE WE CHECKED THE TIME WE ASKED again and we calmly reminded we just wanted our side dishes. So after another 5 mins we finally got it
