As usual, Kimpura never fails to amaze us. We’re regulars here especially when there’s a special occasion.

The last time we were here was our older daughter’s bday. This time, it’s our youngest daughter’s bday.

5/5 for food We ordered tuna sashimi, spicy tuna sashimi, tori udon and salmon teppanyaki. All of the dishes were fresh and delicious.

5/5 for service Upon entering the restaurant we were immediately welcomed and escorted to our table. I didn’t get the name of the server but he was attentive and food was served promptly. Service was excellent all the way till the time we left the restaurant.

5/5 for the Atmosphere decor was very appropriate for Japanese restaurant furnitures are okay (although their table is a little bit low but it’s all good) music is just right presentation of the food is better than expected. Appropriate for a fine dining restaurant.

All in all, we definitely...

Kimpura is practically an institution in Metro Manila; one of the pioneer Japanese restaurants that I remember growing up. I first encountered Kimpura in Greenhills, San Juan. My sister insisted the family try their food back in the 1980s. I was so reluctant to eat raw fish; I feared I might throw up. My fears were unfounded. I've been eating and enjoying sushis and sashimis since.

I've been a regular customer at their Trinoma branch for many years now. I have nearly always been satisfied by their consistency in foods, and service. There are so many good dishes here, my review might take too long to read. So, what better review can I give except to say I intend to...

Very great ambiance! It's like a hotel lobby and the music choice is amusing. Maybe its because of the season, but it's rare that I get to hear japanese rendition of the holiday carols 😂😂

The food is good though it's pricey, the servers are very attentive and polite. They answer our inquiries quite well and with speed, and advised us well on our choice of food. We're hungry so they advised us of food that can be served fast. Thanks...
