I have never felt more ripped off than I did shopping here. From the moment you walk in a rum and coke is thrown into your hand, which is great until the hard push to get you to buy a bottle starts. The owner claims she has "made" it herself. Their target audience is clearly other South Africans who feel like a taste of home and then get fleeced for an exorbitant Rs750 (R300) for a bunny chow. The curry is good but not that good.
The rum is clearly where they make the most and push the hardest to get you to buy. By "make" the owner basically means that she buys a cheap rum in the super market (for Rs300) and adds a few spices to it to give it a flavour before pushing it to her clients for Rs2000 (or if you buy today a special price of Rs1500).
The curry is really good, it's a pity the rest of it leaves a horrible taste in your mouth.
Review Edit: The owners response says it all. Nina, carry on ripping people off, you seem to be okay with it. In the end it'll catch...

The downside was the decor and the fact that the owner only seemed interested in trying to sell us tours and trips. When we said we were not interested she literally just turned her back on us and walked away and had no more interest in chatting to us. Which is fine by me as I am not a big talker anyway.
On the plus side, they did offer more gravy if I wanted when I was...

if there is no menu then make it clear but do not contradict yourself, i quote " No there is no menu. you need to order in advance or eat what is in menu."
furthermore to top it off, she's very rude and she told me eat somewhere else! yes I will eat somewhere else less restrictive! this is the reason you are not well known and popular...
