If you’re visiting Grand Baie and want to enjoy a truly authentic local experience, Paradis de Nourriture at Grand Baie Public Beach is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality.

The selection of fresh tropical fruits—especially the coconuts and pineapples—was outstanding. Watching the vendors skillfully prepare the coconuts and juices right in front of us added a lovely personal touch. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and refreshing—perfect for a beach day!

The Paradis de Nourriture food truck served some of the best halal street food we’ve ever had in Mauritius. Every dish was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and served hot. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable.

What really made the experience unforgettable was the friendly atmosphere. The team was kind, patient, and genuinely proud of what they offer. They explained the dishes clearly, made us feel welcome, and took great care in every order.

There are tables set right on the sand under umbrellas, so you can enjoy your meal with a breathtaking ocean view. It’s the perfect spot to relax, eat, and soak in the tropical vibes of Mauritius.

Incredible Thai food — easily the best we’ve had in the entire north of Mauritius. Full of authentic flavor and perfectly spiced. Ordered many times and every dish was absolutely delicious.

What really makes this place special is the atmosphere — dining right on the beach, with the sound of the ocean in the background. Just perfect.

Further, the staff is okay. They can be a little reserved and commercial, but it’s okay.
