Terraza La Choperia Cabo San Lucas — Restaurant in Ampliación Juárez

I honestly didn’t think I was going to like hanging around outdoors, at a small karaoke bar located at a corner of an outdoor shopping plaza. What I thought an hour would be for our Wednesday bar hopping night actually turned out to be a little over 2 hours of fun, fun, fun, at La Choperia.

I may not be the singer in the family, nor the biggest “drinker” but I’m always open for good old fashion fun wherever it may be. I went with the flow the night when we visited La Choperia. Truth be told, we literally followed customers from previous bars that said that La Choperia will guarantee us a great time. And, it served food. If nothing positive came out of this place, then we at least got to see another part of the town that was not so touristy. It was about a 5-10 minute drive from the marina. Not our first time and may not be our last, but yes, we hung out with strangers that night ;)

Glad my traveling group and I went despite my stand offish-ness attitude towards strangers. At the end, we all agreed we had a great time… laughed and had fun all night long. Being a non Spanish singer, I’ll tell you, we became Spanish karaoke singers in no time!

Oh, I want to give props to the server (not exactly the friendliest, could be tired, but he wasn’t terrible) as he appeared to be the only server working the 4-5 occupied tables that night. On top, trying to manage the karaoke list of songs for customers. He gets a thumbs up 👍🏼

Keep an open mind, gotta try this...

Desde que llegué a Los Cabos, se ha convertido en unos de los lugares que más frecuento.

Abren de lunes a domingo. Tienen un muy buen servicio.

Su menú no es muy extenso ni tampoco para paladares muy exigentes, pero cumple perfectamente el cometido de tener algo con que acompañar tus bebidas y cenar agradable.

En cuanto las bebidas, manejan de todo tipo. Cervezas, vinos, licores y cócteles. Su mojito es de los mejores que he probado.

Lo mejor de todo es la opción del karaoke. Buen equipo, micrófonos inalámbricos, pantallas por toda la terraza de manera que desde tu mesa o desde donde quieras puedes cantar.

En resumen, un lugar excelente para pasar más que un buen rato con los amigos o en pareja. Normalmente siempre tiene gente entre semana y un poco más los...

Cuando llegue eran las 8 y cacho, se supone que cierran a las 10, cuando llegue ya estaban guardando todo, y una mesera se molestó porque me imagino que quería salir temprano... En servicio le pongo 4 por qué ocurrió eso, pero gracias a Dios no nos tocó ella y la mesera que nos atendió, nos atendió "bien" un servicio normal, muy buen ambiente, pero la comida que ordenamos esta muy seca la carne y el pan estaba súper húmedo de abajo( fue...
