La Chata Centro — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Today, I wandered into La Chata for a late lunch, and despite the blistering 96-degree heat, I couldn’t resist the call of a steaming, spicy bowl of menudo! It brought back memories of my grandmother’s kitchen, and when that craving hits, nothing—especially not the weather—can stand in the way.

From the moment I stepped in, the service was warm and welcoming, and the food? Absolutely divine. My menudo was everything I hoped for, and as I glanced around, I couldn’t help but admire the stunning presentation of the dishes at other tables. Each plate was a work of art!

La Chata Breakfast really impressed us. The food was excellent — the breakfast beef burrito with house-made flour tortillas was a standout and definitely a must-order. The empanadas were perfectly fluffy and crispy, and the pancakes were just as delicious.

The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a cozy, home-style vibe that made us feel right at home.

Welcoming Inviting Experience. The Owner runs one of the best breakfasts in town. His service is impeccable and runs a clean establishment.

I had the enchiladas suizas with pork and it was amazing. My girlfriend had the menudo and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste.
