This is the in-house restaurant that is within the The Cabo Azul Resort. It's a fine establishment that gives the allure of a high-class place that fits well within the luxury resort.

The food was good, not necessarily outstanding or memorable, but the menu has some great local tastes and a wide variety of choice. The serving sizes seemed to be average, which isn't necessarily bad, but it'd be nice to be able to share plates and/or take some back to the hotel. It's just not that kind of restaurant.

The setting is right off the beach and you can hear the sound of the ocean and be in the moon's light while eating, which gives off such a great atmosphere.

The drinks is where I feel they could improve on. The margaritas were a bit watery and tasted as of there was very little alcohol in them. The other drinks I tried were the same, not too heavy on the alcohol, which is fine if the drinks were less expensive. It's not a place to get "wasted" at but I'd like to have a few at dinner that'd set me for the night to come.

Try it if you are staying at the resort, at least once. But go explore some of the others across the...

It is a great place and since was my wifes birthday i decide to honor her in an nice breakfast restaurand. Javier's today Sunday they had a breakfast buffet from 9 to 1 pm for a fixed price not knowing at the time. After we had the breakfast with one small bottle of regular water bill came to $150 for two. We have been in many places arround the world but i have never ever paid $75 per person for a buffet breakfast plus tip. Later on since we pay for buffet and before 1 ocklock we decide to go back and get some fruits or guacamole with chips, but manager he refused and recommend us to use the other pool restaurant with separate pay. What a cheap manager's mentality of a high class restaurant. Time was 12:45 and for sure they will throw away all remaining food after 1 ocklock. Very disappointed of this behavior. Deffinatly not going back. I just have to warn you of high prices and read all fine prints of hidden charges. I give 3 stars for price and 3 stars for the manager's behavior as well especially when he new that was my...

Our favorite restaurant in San Jose del Cabo, located within the Hilton Cabi Azul resort.

Service is always excellent, you can tell the staff has been trained incredibly well. This time Daniel waited on us and he was a fantastic server from the minute we sat down until the time we left.

We ordered a couple of margaritas and they were excellent. My wife ordered a watermelon margarita and I had guyaba. Both were stong, delicious, and looked beautiful.

We ordered the La Tablita for two, which was essentially a make your own taco plate which included tice, guac, refried beans, pico, steak, chicken, and carnitas with your choice of tortillas (corn or wheat). Everything was absolutely delicious.

For desert we shared the oan de elote a warm corn cake served with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. It was devine.

We highly recommend Javier's, even if you are not staying...

Had the Sunday Brunch. It is a bit of an expensive experience ($90 pp), but it is well worth it, in my opinion. The array of food is amazing (see the attached video previews). And the quality was unsurpassed. Definitely, every item item has a superior recipe behind it. I loved the carnitas (a Javier's specialty), marinated lamb, lobster quesadillas, tuna negiri, chicken mole, spanish chorizo and jalapeño cheese, paella with crab claws, crispy bacon and shrimp aguachiles. Little touches like having the juice glasses available in a chiller or sending a guy through the dining area with a frozen cart of gellato popsicles or serving free-flowing mimosas and bloody mary's add the cherry on top. Or maybe I was just sucked in by the stunning view and ambiance. Anyway, if you are in the Zona Hotelera of San Jose del Cabo on a Sunday, don't miss Javier's brunch!

Setting: this was the fine dining at our resort and I think beautifully resigned and decorated. The sunsets are also magnificent and there was live music. You are also very close to the beach, very well designed. Service: I think the hostess could have been warmer but the servers were friendly and kind. The accuracy of our order and it’s correction could have been handled better. We didn’t want to be pushy but it’s moments like these that remind you why you must. Food/price: An expensive restaurant that lacks any flavor and is considered Mexican. The nachos and mostly beans that will have you farting up a storm and are creamy like a patei, the fajitas are covered in goo, fried ice cream is covered in a shell that has that plastic flavor but he honey tastes great.
