I come to this place on a regular basis. I typically order the Molcajete de Arrachera. It’s very good. They typically give a side of chile Serrano to go with it. Hot warm hand made tortillas, meat is on point. But the best thing from this place is gotta admit it’s their Cafe De la Olla. It’s amazing. Just recently I also tried their Champurrado de Piña it was very good. I would just go there to have this coffee on a daily. Food is great, ambiance is great but their cafe de la olla is amazing. They have valet parking so you never worry about parking. Service is always fast so it’s not always a packed house. Staff is super friendly.

Very disappointed for several reasons. The parking was tough, street parking and a valet. We got inside the restaurant and the place was half empty and yet it took 5 minutes to sit a party of 3. I order only signature dishes that were marked “KJ”. We ordered Carne en Su Jugo and a KJ omelette. They both tasted okay. I recently had “Carne en su Jugo” at a private event in Guadalajara and it blew my mind. This “Carne en su Jugo” lacked spices and was flavorless compared to the one that I recently had in Guadalajara.

Fue pésimo Mi esposo solicito recomendación del mesero de una bebida caliente que fuera dulce, a lo que le dijo que un capuchino, el cual no tenía un sabor dulce, puede que el mesero no estuviera capacitado para saber sobre la barra de bebidas (cosas que pudo haber mencionado sin problema) esas mismas bebidas se nos entregaron tiempo después de entregada la comida (se ordenó todo al mismo tiempo). Ahora bien, lo que menos nos gustó. Yo pedí chicharrón en salsa verde y él carne en su jugo gr. Antes de que nos sirvieran la comida a él le dieron un consomé y salsa con tostadas y fue súper extraño porque era un consomé del tamaño de una taza de té y solo le dieron a él y yo como ª pos bueno! Después le sirvieron su plato y tiempo después el mío (ambos tibios), como menciones antes paso más tiempo y luego nos llevaron las bebidas. La carne en su jugo era tipo bistec con caldo eso no era carne en su jugo, no digo que lo tengan que preparar como en Guadalajara pero mínimo hacer el intento si se supone que esa es la especialidad. La porción no se puede considerar como un plato grande, la salsa estaba buena y agregándole eso ya le da sabor al platillo. El chicharrón en salsa verde fue lo peor de todo, era tipo de las Sabritas remojadas en la salsa, la salsa parecida a las que venden, sin sazón y tenía un pedazo (casi el ⅓ del platillo) que estaba todo echo bola y cortarlo, por dentro estaba todo seco. Las tortillas echas a mano fue lo mejor y rescatable, el servicio dentro de todo fue bueno.

5? ONLY 5 stars? Can I give 24? Lol. Last week was my 1st time. Me and my friend had pre-meal guacamole which was superb. Huge corn chips where you could put a huge spoonful of g-mole onto your chip instead of dipping. Great in and of itself.

She ordered a Taco Arrechera and me, Beef Enchiladas in Mole. Just better than I could have imagined. It came with a small scoop of Mex rice and a small bowl of beans which tasted cooked in a bit of chorizo. Price was about 420 pesos (she ordered a Cappucino and Pay De Elote as well).

I know there's a new location on 4th and Madero which is closer to my place. But I will be making a point to come back to this small chain....

It was our first time there we looking for a good place to eat , and we saw the name of place "Karnes en su jugo" that name did not even come close to the food . The drinks come out and they look depressing . I oder Chile rellono, and guacamole to start the meal. The food was not even seasoned .the Chile regeno was top with bell peppers and other veggies the sauce taste like it come out from a can it was gross . Next was mole with chicken breast God it was disgusting. I could even eat the dish. The chicken was cook right but the main focus of this dish is the mole the sauce I'm sorry to say but this was a bad experience . I don't recommend this...

I absolutely loved this place. It’s super clean, great ambiance, nicely decorated, super good service and above all, the food was delicious. We order the queso fundido con rajas y chorizo, soo good! The tártara de atún was super good! Yumm! My enchiladas were on point! The husband pollo a la Florentina was also very good. The pan de elote as dessert was delicious and don’t miss the ice cream of elote. The carajillo and café de la olla were perfection. Great presentation, great portions, good prices. I would be definitely back. Oh and the guy singing from 4-6pm made the whole experience so much better. I enjoyed every second in this...
