My friend and I were in Tijuana on a rainy cold day and I wanted seaffod soup and we were recomended to go to "Rabelos". We had the BEST seafood soup ever, it was loaded with real crab, shirmp, calamar, fish and more, all cooked to perfection. Also you are given 2 type of hot sauses with your chips and 4 regular size deep fried fish as a free appetizer for the two of us. Because everything is made for you when you order it. You never feel rush and it's the kind of restaurant you can sit eat drink talk and enjoy your food and take all the time you want. The service is excelent the waiters are very friendly and fast, and the price was the best under $10 for a large bowl, you could easely pay $20 to $30!! The decore of the restaurant is on the cold side, if they warm it up it can become a 5 star restaurant, they naild the food and service but the interior decoration needs a bit of work. Where do I start, ok here we go! #1) As soon as you walk in the place stinks like the water and the mop was old with cheap cleaning products especially the bathroom, the place is 35 years old and the bathroom looks like it. #2) The fish taco breading was raw not cooked enough and the tortilla was overcooked burned like if it was heated on the stove burner not even on a pan. #3) The bread they serve with the main meal is hard with no flavor. #4) We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and it was too salty with too much bacon and no flavor but salt a heart attack waiting to happen. #5) The music is depressing like the food. #6) The salsa they serve for the chips lacked flavor and too watery.
