Amazing food! Our server,Eric, was fantastic. Every need was attended to with great detail and efficiency. Loved the Tortilla Soup. They bring a bowl of ingredients and you pour the hot broth over it. I could have eaten multiple bowls. Thick and flavorful every ingredient is fresh. They have white , yellow and blue tortillas that are served with your meal. Complimentary chips w/ red and green salsa. Fresh baked goods are on display for purchase. I didn’t have any but they looked really good. Arrachera steak and corn tamales dish was excellent and accompanied with delicious beans and rice. Back to the Arrachera steak, so tender, juicy and a wonderful smoked flavor. I will definitely go here again for breakfast , which is their specialty, and lunch in the future. This place is so good I will tell my friends to go there!!! Want to go back already. Plenty of parking out front and valet parking . Flavored water station out front if you have to wait for seating.

Hey everyone! Alright, so I've been here a couple of times already but honestly, I always forget to write a proper review... Now, I will. Since the first time I visited this restaurant, I hd a fantastic time! The dishes are a bit too expensive for what you get, if you ask me. Now, something that I would like to be clear and would like to congratulate about this place: The costumer service. OMG, they were ALWAYS nice and helpful. I mean, that's the way they should be, but this place got a 11/10. The restrooms were also very clean and neat. And as you can see in the pictures, the place itself is just amazing. All clean and the design, the paintings, the lights, the stars, everything is just great. Me and my friends love to visit this place, specifically the ones who come from the USA. Do I liked it? Yes. Do I recommend? Yeah. Would I come back? Sure thing!

Today, we went to have breakfast as on other weekends, and the service was not as good as the last time we visited. It took more time to get our meals, the waitress was kind of distracted, the two meals of my kids were wrong, and we had to wait extra time. We asked for bread more than two times. Also, there was a leak in the table right next to ours, and regardless that we reported the issue several times, no one had the attention to even put a proper wet floor sign and they kept sitting visitors at that table. I guess they need to pay more attention to those kinds of details that affect the atmosphere of this great place. Definitely is not a good place during special dates such as Mother's or Father's days. Unless you are willing to wait for a long long time to get the worst spot in the place.

This is our third time visiting sabor a mi, this quickly has become our go to spot when we are in Tj. We always start off with café de olla and bread. The food here is to die for! So rich with flavor. I really enjoy their chilaquiles with chicken and my partner got the combination plate called Norteña. All the staff is Friendly creating a welcoming ambiance from valet greeting you as soon as you pull in to the hostess opening the door and welcoming you inside. Our server today Daniel was so kind and patient with us allowing us to take our time to decide our order. Daniel was very attentive making sure our coffee was filled and checking in if we needed anything while we waited for our food. We will definitely be requesting for Daniel next time we are in town and visiting sabor a mi.

This is Local eating while in Mexico ( Tijuana). Not over priced, nice atmosphere, Dam Good Food. Friendly service, good service. Broccoli soup, tortilla soup, chorizo and cheese, homemade tortillas, in a cast iron skillet, chilaquiles, eggs over easy top of vegetables and hard corn tortillas,. The big cutting board has octupus, chicken, two short ribs, rib eye, shrimp, peppers, onions, guacamole. Washed down with two beers "sol". And the Mexican drink that looks like tomato juice and you pour a beer in it, the rim is salted. I'm ashamed I forgot the name of it.

Great spot for breakfast, typical mexican breakfast dishes as well as the american fare. We had an issue with the machaca plate being all egg but I brought it up to the waiter and they rectified it right away, with polite attitude. I had the habanero chilaquiles and it was so good and spicy, cafe de olla was good as well as the complimentary fruit and the bread that is passed out from the basket. Top points for cleanliness, they clean and spray the table and chairs every time someone leaves. Overall great service and good food, i’d return again for sure.
