Mentirosa! What a poor experience! What’s worse than waiting 70 minutes and not getting a table? Getting lied to on top of it because the hostess couldn’t admit that she’s incompetent and forgot about us and blamed the waiters for her mistake. We waited over an hour outside to get a table when we were told it would be between 20-40 minutes. At 60 minutes I notice two tables leave and others who were also waiting outside that arrived long after us enter and be seated at those tables. We asked the hostess if those people, now seated in the newly cleared tables had reservations and she replied yes all the tables were reserved ahead of time. Not believing her, my friend went over to the table to ask if they had made a reservation. They replied, NO. So the hostess lied to us 4 feet away from this just seated, no reservation party. In other words, if you want to experience a “desmadre de servicio,” go to Txoko. So, not only did we have to wait over an hour and not get a table, the ineptitude of the hostess and staff and her lying to us was beyond disgusting, immature and demonstrated total incompetence. My friend and i had the Roast Beef sandwich and the Reuban Sandwich. We asked the waiter why the meat looked the same, the menu says on the details for the sandwich "Hot Pastrami" . The waiter did not care to recheck with the chef if this was correct. I've never had a hot pastrami that looked like this. When I got the sandwich the meat was cooked well done and looked just like the meat for the Roast Beef sandwich. I had no option but to eat what we paid for. Food was not good, too pricey and service was bad. I could see why the place is empty when we went.

Walked in by mistake! Was coming to another place that was closed, Boy I’m glad it was! We had the Guayaba French toast, and huevos cremosos Toast with egg and Parker chicken breast drenched in the most delicious Carbonara Sauce (amazing) a double expresó and Vanilla late! The ingredients are fresh and Bread is made here in the restaurant ! You can truly taste the freshness. This is coming from someone so picky!
