I visited Venti3once after a recommendation from a friend who works in the area, and I’m so glad I did! I was running late for an important video call and needed a cozy cool spot that wasn’t too crowded. As I walked in, I was immediately drawn to their interesting menu. They offer everything from classic coffee to cold brew, and even a tonic version of espresso. I couldn’t resist the quirky “Tony the Tiger” at the top of the menu!
While waiting in line, I noticed the barista was busy helping another customer. Feeling the pressure of time, I approached a guy in black who looked like he might be the owner or someone who really knows his coffee mix. I quickly asked about the cold brews while pulling out my AirPod. Suddenly, I panicked, wondering if I had pesos or if they accepted cards. But before I could stress too much, the guy had me sold on the Tony the Tiger!
I placed my order, and to my surprise, he said, “Don’t worry, amigo! Find a seat, make yourself at home. I’ll bring your drink to you, and you can pay later.” Talk about hospitality! I also noticed a modern QR code on the counter for easy access to their menu and Wi-Fi.
Once I finally jumped on my call, I was thrilled to have the best cold brew I’ve had in weeks delivered to me right in the middle of me wondering if they had seen where I sat down. As an avid coffee drinker, I can confidently say that while there are many coffee options in the area, Venti3once deserves five stars and more! . Ha ha ha!
Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the...
Read moreThis is a hidden gem in Tijuana. Found it when I was needing to fix a broken chain on my bike, found the bike shop in Maps and realized it shared a space with a nice little coffee shop. It has a few comfy tables, a few seats at a long bar and a friendly crew all day. They also have a rotating selection of craft beer on tap, fresh-made paninis, and hand-made pizzas. (Did I mention they have excellent coffee too?) What's funny is that I started going there more often when the owner bought two multi-game arcade machines ("Ultra-combo!" screams come out of it every once in a while ;) ) and they organized a couple of mini-tournaments with the gaming enthusiasts, and made a few friends (or foes?) which turned out to be bartenders at the craft breweries nearby... So it's a gathering point for a bunch of interesting people that just want to hang out, have a beer at the bar while they fix their bike, or get some work done while having a quick, easy bite.
Please don't come here. Lol.
Just kidding, if you're in town and want to gather yourselves or kill some time before hitting other spots of interest in TJ, while enjoying a quiet place and maybe grab a flavor of local craft beer, this is the spot. If you also want to play some Marvel vs Capcom and I'm there, I promise I'll go easy on...
