Puerto Cocina Urbana — Restaurant in Baja California

This one of my go to places everytime my husband and I are in the area. The seafood is so fresh and the staff is very welcoming! There was a hiccup in my order due to a language barrier and I have never seen a server and manager so responsive to correct the issue and make sure I had a pleasant experience. I did! Not only was a new dish sent out to me right away, I loved how human I was treated. For me that's a big deal. I have a lot of food allergies, and a lot of places make me feel like I'm inconveniencing them. I did not have this experience here. Oh, and can we talk about the prices?!?! For fresh seafood and top self alcohol my husband and I treated ourselves to a fantastic meal after a stressful day of doctors appointments. I can't wait to visit this place...

Just a piece of advice if you plan to eat here: Be careful. My son was served spoiled shrimp. Clearly they don't have proper health policies / procedures when it comes to inspecting the food they'll serve to costumers. If you choose to visit this place, inspect your food before eating it. By the way Puerto Cocina, your clam showder is terrible. You should not be selling that boring white cream as clam showder and your marlin tostadas hare also a complete failure. My favorite sea food restaurant across the border. The service is decent, but the food quality is the reason we keep going back. This place is very family friendly and casual unlike your typical marisco restaurant you will never hear banda music playing.
