La Horma — Restaurant in Cancún

After waiting for 2 hrs and 15 mins to accommodate our large family at the big family table in the back they said they would separate us at two different tables. We were promised a one hour wait. We walk in and the large family table is wide open. I complained to the manager. Nothing. He said “you’re already seated. Enjoy your meal”. Well we then proceed to order food that was not appetizing. Service was at a snails pace for a place that wasn’t at capacity. Very very disappointed but I’m not that surprised. The restaurant is located in a hotel that let me down as well. Don’t even bother staying here. Save your money and go somewhere that has competent service and good hospitality. The whole Iberostar set up is a scheme trying to get you to sign up for their discount packages so they can keep luring...

Although the service was exceptional and our waiter made sure that everything was okay for us, the food did not make it for us, unfortunately. The seafood pasta was bland. The prosciutto pizza was great, but that was all we ate and could finish. The mozarella sticks as entrée was overly salty. We had dessert elsewhere as the Tiramisu did not taste good. Would recommend for the experience and exceptional service, but be selective of the items you choose to eat....

Atmosphere looks like a nice fine dine restaurant. That's where the positives stop for this restaurant.

They have horrible wait times. You will end up wasting so much time.

Coming to food, it is definitely the worst Italian food I have had. Pizza was the only saving grace. Pastas and appetizers were so bad, I could have made them better learning the recipes
