Bar-Restaurante La Terraza Encantada — Restaurant in Guanajuato

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible experience. Waiters and the manager were SUPER rude. The place itself looked VERY dirty and the music was so loud we could only communicate with each other and the waiter through screams. It was full at all times and if you don't get a table in front you won't be able to see anything.

When we came in we were barely greeted by the manager, he seemed unbothered and unphased until he noticed the half empty bottle of water in my partners hands. He told us he can't bring that in there and we either needed to leave or throw it away. My partner tried to explain that it's only water and tried to reassure the manager that we do intend on buying drinks, but with no success. He insisted on throwing it away.

We needed one more chair for our table and asked one of he waiters if we could get an empty chair from the table that the waiters and manager were sitting at. Only after 5 minutes the manager reluctantly agreed to give us the EMPTY SEAT FROM HIS TABLE.

We were 4 people and only one of us didn't want to order anything, we were told we HAD to otherwise we needed to leave.

Upon hearing this we decided we've had enough and we just got up and left. We found a way more pleasant bar with a terasse and a wonderful view only 100 meters away. The prices were HALF of the prices at this place, it was cleaner and the staff were super friendly. Service food and drinks were impeccable!

I recommend walking just couple meters further and you will find way better, cheaper and cleaner places to...

The view is nice, but that is basically the unique thing positif about this place. The place is falling apart, the prices are very high for a beer that has more water than beer in it. But the worst thing about this place is that I have never been treated that horrible in a restaurant in my life. The place is supposed to close at 8Pm but they told us we had to leave even tho we were there since only 20min, it was 7:30 and we hadn’t finish our drink, but it doesn’t stop here, one’s we left they let other clients enter to take our place. And if you ever want to play cards while enjoying your drink, well I have to tell you that apparently it is not...

The owners and staff violently denied access to the place to my service dog. When I explained that, by law, a service dog cannot and should not be denied access to a public place, including cafes and restaurants, he got violent, and assaulted me, alongside the rest of the staff who brutally kicked me out yelling racist insults.
