I have mixed feelings about this restaurant - much is positive, and then certain things are quite questionable for me. The food and presentation and service are generally quite good - but there's a huge gap, for example, between the high price they charge for a rib eye steak, and the relatively low quality of the cut of meat they serve. Read moreThe vibe here is very welcoming and expert. The food tastes great, and has an interesting presentation. I can see why it’s one of the few places on Guanajuato with a 4.5 or higher rating. In my opinion it should be 4.8 at least.
Several other reviewers said this is their favorite place; I look forward to coming back. It’s refreshing to see the owners response to less positive reviews; they take the feedback when it’s valid (unlike some others’ defensive and combative responses.)

We started with some delicious queso fundido with rajas (sliced peppers) accompanied by homemade flour tortillas, and a lovely bowl of Aztec soup.
