Several people recommended this place to us, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint. If you're in search of truly homemade, local-style food, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal.
We decided to try their special, which featured a grilled red snapper alongside fried coconut shrimp drizzled with a vibrant mango sauce that immediately caught our eye. The combination of flavors was exceptional; the snapper was perfectly cooked, flaky, and infused with just the right amount of seasoning, while the coconut shrimp were crispy and sweet, providing a delightful contrast to the tangy mango sauce.
One of the standout aspects of our visit was the warm welcome and attentive hospitality we received. The owner, who personally served us, was always nearby, ensuring that we had everything we needed. He took our drink orders and food orders promptly, and our meals arrived in a timely manner, which we greatly appreciated.
Our waiter, Damian, provided phenomenal service throughout our dining experience. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and checked in on us regularly without being intrusive. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness made our meal even more enjoyable.

Read moreI almost pass this place though my friend who was just here a week ago strongly recommended it because she had the best meal ever at this restaurant. However, when I got here, the small store front and fact that nobody else was eating there turned me away the first time. On my last day on the island I decided to give it a try. And I can tell you, I was stupid to leave the first time!! The food was super delicious and really affordable. We ordered a whole fish, main course with squid, and beef fajitas, three margarita, everything adds up to be around $67 USD or about $1105 pesos. Portion was big and seafood super fresh. I have no complaint about anything that I ate and we didn’t even had time to chat because our mouth was busy!
Please don’t be skipping this place like I did, you will not regret. Enjoy your trip and have an excellent meal here.
Ps the waitress speaks English and menu was in English too. Nevertheless , I should start learning Spanish when I...
Read moreExited the auto ferry and headed straight here by recommendation for the best fried fish in Isla.
Venue opened at 1, we arrived at 1:15 off the 11:30 am ferry from Punta Sam. Very limited street parking but we found a space. #Win
Family of four ordered fried fish, coconut shrimp, Caesar salad, guacamole and chips, chicken quesadilla and two margaritas for just under $1000P. The fish wasn’t the best we’ve had - we’ve had excellent in Tulum (Chimicos), Holbox and Playa but it was good. It was seasoned well. Everything is made fresh. The salad was good. The guacamole was amazing. And the quesadilla was made with love as well. The margaritas were okay. I’d give this place a solid 4. The service was top notch. Given so many other places I most likely wouldn’t return but it was a wonderful place to try and given the time, zero wait. It is about a 20 minute walk from Playa Norte.
