I recently had the pleasure of visiting Café El Palmar, and I just had to share my experience because it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The coffee they serve is exceptional, offering a rich and full-bodied taste that is a true testament to high-quality brewing. It's the kind of coffee that makes you want to savor every sip.

The interior of the café itself is another highlight. It's designed in such a way that you feel both impressed and instantly at home. The ambiance is welcoming, with a stylish yet cozy vibe that invites you to relax and enjoy your time there. It's clear that a lot of thought went into making the space as pleasant and inviting as possible.

Now, let's talk about the apple strudel. It was simply out of this world! So delicious, in fact, that after finishing our first order, we couldn't resist buying two more. It's rare to find a place that does both coffee and pastries so well, but Café El Palmar nails it. The strudel was the perfect combination of sweet and flaky, a true delight for the taste buds.

During our week-long search for quality coffee in Cancun and Playa del Carmen, we struggled to find anything that compared. It wasn't until we arrived on Isla Mujeres and discovered Café El Palmar that we finally found what we were looking for. It was a relief to find a café that offered both exceptional coffee and delicious treats, making our search well worth it.

In conclusion, Café El Palmar is a must-visit for anyone in the Isla Mujeres area. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or simply in the mood for a tasty snack, this café will not disappoint. The combination of delicious coffee, mouth-watering pastries, and a warm, inviting atmosphere makes for a perfect café experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality coffee shop, and I can't...

As a coffee aficionado and a lover of specialty coffees, drunk black, as opposed to flavored sugary drinks, I was in search of a better quality coffee shop here on the island. I visited a few places and there were everything from just a simple Breville machine to real espresso machines, but with baristas lacking training, etc. But I was totally pleased to discover Café El Parmar, which for a coffee enthusiast like myself, is the real deal. They own a coffee farm in Chiapas, from which their coffee comes. They know how to roast for the best flavor profile. They have special limited productions, washed, natural, honey process. They have various methods of extraction and I would recommend you start with an Americano as it is their blend of two beans and then move on to try some of the specialty roasts. For serious coffee geeks, this might be one of only two “must visit” coffee shops on the island.

Always have great music.

Love the almond “cronut”.

I do recommend they change to paper straws instead of plastic...

I highly recommend Cafe El Palmar on Isla Mujeres! Very nice coffee shop serving coffee from Chiapas, Mexico. I've had wonderful pour over coffee, machiattos, and cappucinos here. The cafe is family run and serves coffee roasts grown in Chiapas on various family farms. They shared with me aspects of the cultivation, preparation, and roasting process. It makes you really appreciate the cup of coffee when you learn all the work, heart, and soul that goes into it. The beans are hand-picked and need to be carried on foot for some distance from a number of the fincas. They are very knowledgeable and friendly baristas who take pride in what they do. They really respect the coffee because they are growing it also. They also sell bags of coffee beans etc. I also like that...

I didn’t realize this coffee shop was here and walked by multiple times thinking the storefront was all part of the juice/smoothie bar next door. What a loss for me, because this was the best coffee I’ve had in Isla and only stopped in on my last day based on a recommendation from the front desk staff at my hotel. This is one of the few places where they really know how to use their espresso machine and they weigh their coffee and shot output so I would expect their coffee is also very consistent. Very friendly staff and they have coffee beans for sale from their farm in Chiapas as well.
