I mean, what's not to love. You are on the beach in fair weather enjoying good bevies and the ocean. There is a water taxi business that operates from that pier to Paradise Village Nuevo Nayarit. If you ask the vendors on the strip, they say it is operational. If you ask the local expats, they say it isn't. If you go to the actual water taxi stall at Los Muertos, the woman working there will tell you the only boat rides for sale are the most expensive all day tourist trap packages and none of them go to Paradise. I found the guy that runs the water taxi in Paradise Village. His name is Tony. THE PIER: A 328-foot wood, steel & concrete foot bridge gently bends out toward the white steel structure which is reminiscent of a boat's sail. One side of the cylindrical tower is open, while a wire mesh skin twists up the other end. A 360° bench seat is set in the middle. It offers great views of Vallarta's coast. At the end is a lower, wooden pier that serves water taxis and other ocean activities. At night it's lit in hues of sky blue, pink, and purple.
