If I could give this place zero stars I would. We stopped at Senor Frogs on 3/15/2023 to get some refreshing cold drinks as it was very humid outside. We were seated and sat there while quite a few (5) wait staff stood bout 10 feet from us flirting with each other. In the meantime NOT one server came to take our order. After about 10 minutes of no one coming to our table. I flagged down one of the managers. There was no apology for the terrible service and not one person broke up the flirting by wait staff. The manager took our order for our drinks which we got immediately. As we were enjoying our drinks a young server was at our table constantly picking up any garbage. So they can come pick up garbage but they can't be bothered to take your order. Come to find out the managers were participating in the flirting among staff. This is not the first time we have received terrible service at Senor Frogs. I highly recommend NOT eating at ANY of the restaurants on the Malecon. The food is either terrible, you get horrible service and the food is way overpriced only because of its location. There are many other amazing...

What I was told after sharing this horrible experience with another locals, THERE ARE SO MANY AMAZING LOCAL RESTAURANTS THAN THIS FRANCHISE.

We just wanted to get an order of chicken wings but sadly the server took our order wrong and for instance our dish came with the wrong sauce (spicy)

When I mentioned that my order was wrong another server told us that they have just migrated from paper to digital ordering platform and that was problem.

Then he came back and with a different tone of voice like a threat said, you ordered this and now the server will be charged if you want to change it, because this is Mexico.

At that point we were sooo upset because first of all we did not ask for something that we cannot eat. We just did a bite and left it. Second, We definitely felt like a: shut up, eat it and pay. Like WTH? And third, What kind of server with ethics would do that to the customer.

I sadly did not get the name of this rude server

AVOID THIS KIND OF RESTAURANTS AND EAT LOCAL!!! The franchise does not...

One of the most disappointing experiences in my entire dining history. The five of us were celebrating a family event. We ordered drinks, shots, wings and calamari. The calamari was this tiny portion which alone was disappointing. We each took one piece and we all agreed it tasted overdone like rubber bands. We said we would not pay for this. The manager, Alex, said that because we ate half of the serving he would not refund the order. He said once we paid, he would give us a round of shots. Terrible terrible compromise but to avoid a confrontation because we were celebrating a family members graduation I agreed. The "round of shots" was five shots of coca cola. Honestly this was grossly mismanaged and an embarrassment to the chain. For the over-priced food and drinks and then to be treated like this, not only will we never go back but I encourage anyone who reads this review to avoid giving this establishment any of your money. ...

Think it's more suitable place "hangout" for youngsters! Loud music and some "message - word" game to "having - make" fun with their guests, however some words not appropriate if you bring your kiddo - families. I came with my husband [dress casual with no makeup] and the game word they tag me was "will work for sex" don't know what crossed their mind "choosen" that word on me?!.. Food wasn't great but acceptable, their cocktail were refreshing thought while bit overpriced for Mexico standard [US $50 for 2 main meal and 3 cocktails], we have been traveling in US for 3 months and for that price we had better food with wines. In addition, the staff educated us how to tip well "total spoiled" and ruined all the fun experience for this place. PS We have been traveling for more than 3 weeks in Mexico specially in Baja California and Baja California Sur Province and never encountered such tip "spoiler" behaviour.

Took my kids and friends there for their first margaritas for Their first drink while on a cruise in 6/22/22. Three of the Six people found shared and broken glass in the blended drinks. After my daughter alerted me I called the waiter over and his reactions like this was a normal thing. Then another boy next to me had the same thing happen but cut the inside of his mouth. Again contacted server who brushed it off again. No manager available but had the nerve to charge us for the drinks. Tried contacting corporate offices but no one answered any of the extensions. Then called the US offices to be told they do not have the corporate number and to try to reach them on Facebook. I said Really. I’ll let my credit card handle this matter. Beware of this place if you go there. Customers beware

We had family visiting us from Canada with their 3 years old son... we took a long walk on the Malecon and ended up having supper at Señor Frog... they rush the food for the little guy which was great as he was hungry... there was a clown that made us each a hat of balloons... we were all entertained... we had drinks and got our food... each of us had only nice things to say about it...we sat on the patio and could watch the sunset and the guys in the pole (sorry I apologize in advance.. yes I'm also canadian) I don't know the name of group who entertained us on the pole.... we also had a band with riders on the Malecon... overall an excellent evening with family.. I highly recommend Senior Frog 🐸 for young families.. Staff was courteous and attentive to our needs...
