The food was great and the service was out of this world. Five stars all the way. They really go out of their way to make you feel special here. If you want to know why I think this place is amazing read below:

First , the ambiance. The place is decorated well but what’s really striking is the almost every table has a breathtaking view of the angel of independence.

Next, the food. Great food that ranges from bougie French to quality Mexican fare (I ate the chilaquiles divorciados every day, sometimes Al pastor and sometimes vegan with added eggs). I’m drooling just thinking about it. My wife had the buffet that had numerous cheeses, charcuterie board of meats, French bread basket (croissant / baguette) as well as Mexican conchitas and guava bread, 4 types of local honey, at least 6 types of homemade preserves and nut butters including pistachio lemon and hazelnut chocolate as well as fresh fig jam. Also they make fresh crepes to order and “quesadillas” you can order with portabello, chicken or chicharrón to keep it real.

Finally I come to the jewel in the crown which is service, it is unbelievably good here. We stayed at the hotel and so had ate here nearly every morning. Each server made us feel special and like we were welcomed. The thing you’ll take away is that these guys are all naturally nice, not just for show and it seems as though it’s part of their personalities. Below are servers with comments they deserved

Jorge Rico- hands down the best of the best. Took time to chat with my children and make them feel special. Issak- Always smiling, quick and had a kind response for any question. Nathaniel- Excellent server, quick and quiet. Super attentive. Eckmond- We had you serve us our first breakfast and you set the standard for how awesome this place is. Thank you. Eric- Excellent, he brought a doll for my daughter to take home on Father’s Day. Jose- Another quiet, friendly and attentive guy. Just great. Gabriela- tied with Rico above for top sever . She was just excellent and had superb people skills and attention to detail. Hostess staff all said bonjour and greeted me by name Andrea- thank you Xime - thank you Esmeralda - thank you

In all worth every penny and I only regret we won’t be back until we return to Mexico City . Thank...

I never thought I’d have to write a negative review for my favorite breakfast spot in Mexico City, but unfortunately, the recent changes have significantly diminished the experience.

We visited last month, and the adjustments they’ve made since then have lowered the overall quality of the place.

First, the prices have increased (not necessarily a problem if everything else had remained the same) but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

Before: The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide selection including crepes, quesadillas, omelets, chilaquiles, bacon, sausage, pastries, juices, fruit, muesli, and more. On top of that, you could choose a dish from the menu and enjoy a specialty coffee (like a lavender latte). The experience was a perfect 10/10, with a beautiful ambiance, city views, and attentive service.

Now: The food selection has been reduced, only including quesadillas, omelets, sausage, pastries, juices, fruit, and muesli. The option to choose a dish from the menu is gone (you have to pay extra). Specialty coffees have also been removed, replaced with basic machine-made beverages. Service has also declined. During our visit, empty trays (like waffles and omelets) remained unfilled for a long time, even after I asked twice. The staff was noticeably less attentive, forgetting simple requests like extra spoons and milk.

As someone who used to come here regularly and even recommended it to visitors, I’m deeply disappointed. As a conclusion, sadly, the above changes have made me...

Was sat solo at a very large table at 9:05am. I was ignored until 9:25a when i finally stopped a server to ask for a cup of black coffee. At 9:35a i had stopped the waiter again to order pancakes and bacon thinking this would aquick solution to cure my appitite, i was wrong. The order arrived cold and hard at 10:05a, almost inedible. i asked for maple syrup which took another 5 minutes and to servers to complete the request. I ate the 3 very small, dry and cold pancakes hoping to find some warmth hidden in the small stack, to no such luck the entire meal was cold. Not looking to sit in this place any longer I continued with my horrible meal and experience. I finished eating at 10:12a, thats how small this breakfast was. I sat there staring at the server to bring me the bill so i could pay. I was ignored while he set place settings for people to be sat and also ignored. I had to walk to the server station to request the check to which i stood there for enough time to realize that they were in no hurry and walked away. The waiter came running after me. I told him my room number and got on the elevator. If i would have known it would have taken over an hour for 2 cups of black coffee and some dry cold pancakes i would have staying in my room and ate the free paper and pencil provided on the night stand. Trash and overpriced w/ poor service. 10 out 10 save your money and go...
