Our favorite meal in CDMX!!!
We randomly stumbled across this restaurant when we were looking for dinner in Polanco. We walked up and down the streets around the area and looked up the menu/pictures to this place and the yummy seafood dishes caught our attention.
The host asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and they said inside is prettier so they sat us inside by the window that is picture worthy.
**Service - Our waiter was very attentive and diligent. He quickly brought me a coat hanger when he saw me taking off my jacket! Our food came out pretty quickly after we ordered too!
Ambiance - The restaurant theme is tropical and it was nicely decorated with holiday garlands.
**Food - Portions were big especially the appetizers. I loved their salsas with one being garlic and the other being macha.
We ordered:
Shrimp aguachiles - must get!! Octopus cocktail - perfect blend of ingredients Seared tuna - asian inspired Panfried shrimps - Comes with your choice of a side. We went with vegetables.
Overall, this place was great. Our bill was even less than another seafood restaurant that we went to in the area during our trip. When we were back in the neighborhood the next day, we definitely thought about...

Miguel, our server, went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience, with Jesus also assisting and adding to the attentive care.
We were so impressed with the food that we came back the next day for lunch. The seabass fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the ceviche was absolutely delicious. The drinks were crafted perfectly to complement the meal. One dish that stood out was the fettuccini – it’s an absolute must-try!

It is most likely that they don’t get enough people during the weekdays and are serving ingredients that have not been properly taken care of.
Also, this place has existed for a long time. When the seafood is not making you sick, it’s a 7/10at the most. That is the reason why it is never full, except maybe Sunday lunch. But everything is full in Mexico City for Sunday lunch.
I’m guessing a lot of those raving five star reviews that say these are the “best tacos” they’ve ever had are paid reviews or bots. Place has been there for over 15 years and I have never heard anybody say that it’s...
