I can't say enough great things about our experience at Emilio. We ate downstairs at a two-top that was very comfortable, perfectly lit, and not overly loud. Wait staff was attentive and helpful. The Margaritas were made exactly as we requested (no sugar) and were the BEST we've ever had. We had Risotto and our waiter recommended a fish dish to share that was fresh and sublime. And either they have ESP or they could read our dietary needs from our faces because they offered me a GF dessert (w/o my having mentioned having Celiac) and they offered my spouse lactose free milk for his coffee :) Perfect dining experience overall! Oh, and did I mention we had 5 drinks, dinner & dessert for under $100? I will certainly...

We were visiting Veracruz this summer from the US and found this wonderful restaurant. Can't say enough good things about it -- great ambiance, great food, and phenomenal staff that went out of its way to engage us and to prepare one of the best meals we've had in Mexico. It was beautifully presented, starting with the warmest most delicious bread you can imagine. The bartender even showed us how to make the traditional cocktail, the "menyul". . . so good. The dessert was incredible, too. We highly recommend this place, and look forward to visiting it on our return...

I’m so sorry I didn’t take photos. Everything was delicious. No bull, totally tasty. Croquettes insane, foie gras with figs perfect, gazpacho totally decent but not mind blowing, fish with rice, amazing flavors and great balance of salty and savory (even sweet). One of the managers sent over the cheesecake. In-cred-ible dessert. Only critique? Service. Wine was left unfilled a few times but that’s an easy fix. Great great food

UPDATE: came back, food was even better. Risotto with I think orzo? Crazy good! Steak? Amazing! Great dessert as always! Took...

We stayed in Mexico City for a week and dined at 3 Michelin-starred restaurants and it was the best meal we had! If you want to be transported to Spain, this is the place! We started we jamón Ibérico and pan con tomate. They also treated us to a special bread with sautéed mushrooms and tuna con aguacate. Then we had langostinos a la plancha and asparagus. The bonus is that Real Madrid was playing Atlético on the TV. Our server was Cecilio, and he provided us with superior service. If you are in Polanco, this is a wonderful restaurant at which to dine.
