Maison Kayser Polanco — Restaurant in Mexico City

This place is definitely not recommendable: I wanted to a sandwich to take away and I understood that it would take some minutes so I decided to order a coffee meanwhile I was waiting for my sandwich to prepared. There were hardly any guests, maybe 3 more. Nevertheless it took them 15 minutes to serve a normal coffee. Moreover I noticed that my sandwich was ready earlier but they took it to the back kitchen to get it wrapped which took another 10 minutes. The staff was very arrogant and distant and I had the impression that they pretend to be busy but infact they weren't as I saw that one of the waitresses only pressed empty bottons on her cash desk screen. Polanco has so many other places to have dinner or a coffee....

I didn't know anything about this place but I had to stop when I smelled something sweet in the air. I am glad I did because I was not disappointed! I absolutely love this place! It's walking distance for for W Marriot hotel and it has a European bistro vibe to it. The wait was 5 minutes to get a table on a busy Sunday brunch time. They had both shaded tables and in the sun tables. There were so many dogs and I was in heaven. All the staff was so friendly and kind to the dogs. The food was absolutely incredible. Tuve una mal experiencia con una señorita joven que nos atendió de mala manera quejumbrosa, agarró mis beignets con la mano creyendo que no la vería cuando paradójicamente otra compañera suya sacaba un pan del mostrador usando guantes de plástico, yo no se donde puso esa señora antes su mano o si estaba limpia pero QUE ASCO que desquite su odio a la vida y a su trabajo con CLIENTES, le pedí amablemente a un señor adulto de lentes el nombre de su supervisor solo para hacer la queja y el señor se ofendió y me preguntó que le dijera primero cuál era mi tema para entonces el decirle al supervisor y le dije que solo quería el nombre del supervisor y se ofendió y se puso a la defensiva sin que yo mencionara si quiera cuál era mi queja o simplemente sin mencionar que me iba a quejar, hasta me preguntó que de qué “sucursal” era yo asumiendo que yo fuera un trabajador y le dije que solo era un cliente, me fui a mi mesa a sentar y me siguió hasta la mesa de forma acosadora y retante preguntando de nuevo “cuál era mi queja” cuando en el momento que no quiso decirme quién era el supervisor finalice diciéndole gracias y aún así vino a mi mesa a insistir que quería decirle al supervisor, pésimo servicio, no regreso a este Maison, es triste ver gente que odia su vida y su trabajo atendiendo lugares, yo entiendo que todos pasamos cosas y vivimos cosas difíciles pero eso no es excusa para hacer mal algo para LO QUE TE PAGAN!
