Nonsolo — Restaurant in Mexico City

My experience here was terrible and I would never recommend it. Food and service left lots to desire. The bread was hard to bite, the butter is served frozen and the cheese tastes like nothing and is served in a tea pot, (that seemed odd) . I asked for the ravioli di gamberi and it was basically two slices of pasta dough together with a little bit of cream inside, which didn't even remotely taste like shrimps. As it was only served with butter and sage I also asked for the cream and funghi sauce. No flavour at all, it was so dull, but it definitely had lots of parsley which was a nuisance. I had better food in a hospital. The service was terrible as well, I waited almost ten minutes to even get the menu and I was the only one sitting in the dining area. Food was ok but service quality was not satisfying.

When I arrived, there were already waiting people so it was a busy peak moment. Although I arrived earlier than other guests and I was waiting, the waiter received other guests and wrote their name on the waiting list, before me. They hugged each other so it seems that they're might be regular clients. But still it was not professional, I realized that the waiter would never come to me so I had to go to her to tell her that I'm like, just here.

Serving bread was tiny quantity and they're a bit hard, it seems that they already cut. And later, they while they were coming to the table, one one checked the bread basket.

Great Italian place. They offer authentic versions of the dishes, as well as the more "modern" version of them (carbonara is a good example, as the original version is not creamy at all). I was very glad to see this place offers gluten free pasta, and it's not just limited to one style, they offer to make any of their pastas gluten free for 25 pesos (around 1.15 dollars). They also have "happy hour" for drinks from 5 to 8 (it may be a different time, but it sure is around those hours), and you can get 2 glasses of red wine, mojitos, margaritas or a variety of apperol spritz and beer on the same promotion (2x1).
