De Huevos — Restaurant in Mexico City

They ask for a tip. Before they make your food. So....if I tip less they make worse food? I declined, because there was a tip jar, so I figured I'd tip after based on how the service was. When I declined her request for the tip, the young lady was rude about it, first to me directly, then called her coworker over to let then know we refused to tip. (Yes, I speak Spanish too) In the end, they don't even do anything like bring the food to your table. They just set it on the counter and shout the order for you to pick up. So....again, what's the tip for?

Food was pretty tasty actually....really messy, but good. Expensive for what you get. 140 pesos ($8.50) for a sandwich without fries or a drink. 40 pesos for a small can of coke.

I just received my delivery order which were 2 orders de huevos días and 1 de huevos and it was all wrong they sent me 2 de huevos and 1 de huevos días. The order for de huevos I ordered extra Oaxaca cheese which had none and the order that I had ordered de huevos días with extra gouda, and the whole order was wrong!!! An of course charged for the extras. Also, the bread was nasty brioche bread suppose to be soft this one was falling apart so that is a sign that the bread was old. The brioche with eggs I had was so greasy and heavy it took me over a day to fully digest it. I had thought the concept was appetizing, however food wasn’t delish and was not to my taste. If you’re drunk or hangover, it might flow better. On the menu, the description of each option doesn’t include all ingredients so you’d better ask and check.
