We’re visiting cdmx and randomly found this place by our Airbnb. It doesn’t have a Yelp so we’re very lucky to have randomly come across it. Jsut wanted to say the man serving us was the most patient guy. We obviously don’t speak any Spanish and he didn’t speak any English, but was so patient in explaining the menu to us via a translate app. Google lens was unhelpful in this situation. The food was amazing. We ordered the costras with relleno negro…. Amazing. Not sure what’s in the sauce but it’s sooooo savory and delicious. Horchata was delish also. I came here with a friend bases on a friend’s recommendation and I’m very happy i did.
i usually dont eat pork but they are apparently famous for their cochinitas, so I definitely wanted to order it.
Their menu is straightforward and easy to read.
I ordered a tostada de cochinita al pibil and pan arabes rellnos con pavo en escabeche. Both were very tasty.
My friend got a soup and a torta de cochinita al pibil. She loved both.
The server was very friendly and attentive. I think i’ll back and try it again....
