This place looks and feels traditional and in touch with how these kinds of places will have functioned for decennia. While not as cheap as random streetfood perhaps, tacos and canastas here will still be very affordable and judging by how busy and bustling it usually seems, it still appears to be frequented by locals as much as passing visitors. The flavours are pretty much as you would expect and certainly put orden al pastor tasted fine and the agua fresca de piña, while a little on the sweet side, did its job refreshing our palates. When needing some decent, dependable sustenance, fast service, good flavours, without expecting something exceptional, this place will sort you out. Note that there is little seating as such. An array of small tables are put outside, but generally expect to be eating...

First time trying tacos de canasta (steamed tacos in a basket). Got the chicharron taco and a carne de res taco. Not too much difference in taste between the two but both were pretty tasty and satisfying.

The taqueria is by a busy road with limited outdoor seating and close to Chapultepec park. There were a few locals grabbing a bite too. Very casual place and a perfect for grabbing a quick bite on the go. Prices were clearly displayed. As of May 2025, they were eleven pesos each. Very affordable and honest pricing. The service was pleasant too.

Decent tacos, honest pricing, genuine and sincere service - I would...

You approach this hole in the wall, staff rushes to take your order, stays calm when you have questions, recommends stuff... Tacos come, 5 per order, and you sit or stand around a communal high-table. You taste the most spectacular concoction of flavors ever put on a corn tortilla while you listen to locals talk about their day. You can then come up to the counter and order these 'basket' tortillas.. one by one, no one taking your order. Guy just gives it to you. When you wanna pay, they ask you what you ordered, they do numbers on their head, give you the total... Then your jaw drops: $5 for...

We had tacos de canasta (chicharron, potatoes, and beans for my girlfriend, chicharron and desebrada for me). The tacos were fine, we've both had better but also worse. However, I also had a torta with bistec, and that was by far one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten in Mexico. Absolutely do recommend! The drinks were of a nicely large size too, and came in a package so you can take them with you. It's a taqueria, not a restaurant, but you can sit both inside and outside.

This is the BEST TAQUERIA in all of Mexico City. The 10 pesos big tacos (of different meats) and the tacos al pastor (65 pesos for five small) are super delicious, the meat is tender and everything melts in your mouth. I came back as much as I could during my one month’s stay in CDMX. The salsa is also super on point and their guayaba juice was delicious. I highly recommend this place. Also, the staff who worked here are super nice, friendly and efficient!
